The Basketball Baby, LLC is an innovative enterprise designed to inspire and educate children through the integration of sports, literature, and interactive entertainment. Founded by Zach Monaghan after a successful eight-year career in professional basketball, our mission is to empower young individuals ages 4-12 to embrace hard work, self-belief, and creativity. Our flagship animated character, an endearing basketball baby wearing a diaper, serves as a relatable icon for both children and their families.

About the Founder
My name is Zach Monaghan
A native of the Chicago suburbs, I have been on a journey around the world through the game of basketball. Playing professionally in Spain, Belgium, and Bulgaria, the game has allowed me to meet some incredible people from all walks of life. Due to injuries, I was tasked with figuring out what is next in my life. From teaching myself animation, to turning another passion of mine (art) into something that can help inspire generations of baby ballers with dreams of their own. What I discovered most is a believing in yourself and your dreams, combined with hard work can lead you places you never imagined. It's All About the Journey!
